Who is Posman Books?
We are a family-owned independent mini-chain of three bookstores in New York City. We’ve been selling books (and other things) for more than twenty years and we are proud to be part of the bookselling community. In 2012 New York Magazine voted us “Best Bookstore” and we think we earned it with our great selections of adult and kids books, toys, and beautiful greeting cards.

We currently take payments via PayPal. If you have an account, you can pay with PayPal balance, directly from your bank, or using a credit card, but you don’t need to open a PayPal account; you can make one-time payments with any credit card that PayPal supports.
PayPal is a safe and easy way to make a secure online payment. It allows online shoppers to enter and store credit card and billing information in one place, thereby eliminating the need to store and update this information on multiple sites.
Modifying or Canceling an Order
To change or cancel an order, contact us directly at email@example.com or by telephone (212.983.1111), and we can assist you directly.
About Credit Card Security
All payments are processed via PayPal.com, which uses SSL industry-standard security to protect your personal data. We only hold information for shipping your goods.

When should I expect to receive my purchase?
We do our best to send items out promptly, and in general items are shipped within 24 hours by UPS.
If there is any reason for delay, we will contact you via email.
Can I pick up my 92Y book order at the event?
Yes — if you are attending a 92Y event, and would like to purchase books ahead of time, you may do so on our website. After confirming your payment details, Paypal will direct you back to our site to finalize the order. On this final confirmation page, you must select the option to pick up your order at the corresponding author event.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of the date that you received your order. Items can be mailed with the original packing slip to:

If you prefer, you may bring the item and your packing slip to any of our stores within 14 days of receipt. Please call your local store for more details.
