ABOUT THE BRAND

Egg Press is a Portland, Oregon–based greeting card company, design studio, and letterpress print shop, founded in 1999 by designer Tess Darrow. The studio is widely considered one of the original makers of the modern letterpress greeting card and has built a reputation for cheeky, thoughtful designs printed on thick, luxurious paper.

Every Egg Press card is run through a fleet of mid-century Heidelberg windmill presses by skilled in-house printers, with each color hand-mixed and pressed one at a time. The cards are stocked in independent shops, museum gift stores, florists, and thoughtful retailers around the world, and reflect Egg Press's longstanding belief in the power of written communication and the unique craft of letterpress printing.
